Ruth Amberlyn Evans by the authority and power of the Melchizedek priesthood which we hold we lay our hands upon your head and set you apart as a full time missionary in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints to serve and to labor in the Canada Calgary mission and offer and pronounce a blessing specific for this assignment; specific for your needs, according to the will and direction of our Father in Heaven.
Sister Evans, we bless you at this time that you understand fully what it means to be a daughter of God. The power and favor that comes from being a daughter of our Father in heaven, brings blessings and opportunities and gifts that will prepare you for not just this mission but for your mortal life and also the time beyond.
We bless you to feel his love as you express your love to your Father in Heaven each and every day through prayer as you communicate with your Father in Heaven expressing your deepest concerns, your thoughts, your desires, your feelings and the direction you wish to receive according to your faith as you faithfully offer prayer unto him.
We bless you to feel the love of the Savior. His commitment to you through the atonement offers each of us the opportunity to make things right, to make things whole, to overcome challenge and weakness, to become better, to be forgiven of our sins. We bless you that you will understand that principle thoroughly and you will teach that principle daily to the people in the mission field. We bless you to develop a relationship with the Savior; to know Him, to understand Him and to feel his continuous love and desire for us to be happy and feel peace and joy in our life.
We bless you that as you learn lessons and understanding through the MTC that it will come powerfully easy unto you, to be able to express what you know to be true as you share your testimony often to people that have not either heard this message or those who have left the church or are maybe struggling with their testimonies.
Sister Evans you have been blessed with many gifts, with that being the gift of compassion, the gift of love and the gift of compromise and we bless you that you recognize all of these special abilities that have been offered to you from your Father in Heaven and to expand upon them and share them with other people. We bless you with the power to discern and to see things as they are as God would see them; to know right from wrong and to choose correctly, to follow the path that our Father in Heaven has laid and has offered to you so you can obtain and gain the most strength in your own conversion and in your own testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We bless you to know thoroughly Gods plan as you share of your testimony of the wonderful gifts that come to each of us as we first enter the water of baptism, given the gift of the Holy Ghost. As you bear testimony of those two principles and the Saviors love, the spirit will testify truth to people that you come in contact with and who you associate with.
We bless you to work well with your companions, to take the high road in challenging circumstances and to offer what you know in your experiences to them as they do the same to you. This is the Lords church as you center your life upon the Savior Himself you will pave the way for wonderful blessing that take place in your life and the lives of those you teach.
We bless you that you are obedient to the rules and the guidelines your mission president and his good wife will set so that you might be safe and protected within the parameters of those guidelines so that you can obtain the greatest amount of joy and happiness from your service as a full time missionary.
Sister Evans our Father in Heaven understand you thoroughly and knows you; He loves you. He appreciates dearly your commitment to Him. To serve in a full time capacity to continue to bring His blessings of His plan to the rest of the world. We bless you to feel that love and feel that understanding. You have been given the opportunity to receive wonderful favor in the eyes of our Father in Heaven, first because of your commitment to your covenants and follow the commandments, but also because of your commitment to serve Him and to be a full time missionary and teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We bless that you are mindful at all times; these wonderful blessings that come from being a daughter of God and the strength that will come as you are true and faithful to the principles of righteousness that the doctrine that is taught within this church. We bless you that you are able to bear your testimony clearly of the prophet Joseph Smith and the first vision and the restoration of gospel of Jesus Christ, and of Latter-day Prophets today; President Nelson and his ability to hear and listen to the words of Father in Heaven as he directs the affairs of His church.
Sister Evans we bless you that you don’t see any or recognize or expand upon any weakness you feel you might have. You have been blessed with so many wonderful opportunities and we bless you to see that clearly and see yourself clear as God sees you. We bless you that you have eyes to see and ears to hear what is right and what is true. Express it clearly by bearing your testimony fully of the principles of the gospel.
We bless you to always know and understand the power and love of your family and friends and those within this circle have for you and your continued desire to do what’s right. We bless you to share your experiences, your abilities and the opportunities that you’ve been afforded with others. As it comes to family eternal relationships and it comes to having spiritual understanding of who you are, who you are to become according to the will of Father in Heaven.
We leave this blessing upon you Sister Evans with our love and commitment and the love and commitment of our Father in Heaven and of the Savior and leave any blessing upon you that our Father in Heaven may see fit at this time to bestow upon you that may not have been mentioned to help prepare you [to be a] successful missionary serving the Lord teaching the principle of the gospel and growing closer to the Savior.
